highways. A prepaid connection means you pay upfront for the SIM and can use it until your balance
or the validity expires. It offers:

New BSNL You can get a new BSNL Mobile Prepaid connection through BSNL's Customer Service Centers (CSCs) or from authorized distributors available across India where BSNL services are provided.
A new BSNL To get a BSNL Mobile Prepaid connection, you need to recharge with a First Recharge Voucher (FRC), which ranges from ₹107 to ₹2999. Each plan offers varying validity and benefits.

You can check the prepaid balance on the BSNL Selfcare App. Download the app, register your mobile number, and view your main balance, freebies (voice, data, SMS), and plan validity. Alternatively, dial 123 or use USSD code *123# to check your balance.
The validity period is the time during which you can make or receive calls, starting from the activation date of your SIM card or recharge. It depends on the validity of the plan you chose when you got the SIM or recharged.
Grace period is a 7-day post your plan validity expired where you unutilized balance remains intact. It allows time for you to recharge your account.
